Two ETA bombs explode at two excavators

At about half past two in the morning, two devices placed in two machines exploded in the Basque town of Hernani, causing material damages, Basque Interior Department reported. At about a quarter past five in the evening, an anonymous caller in the name of the armed Basque group ETA claimed responsibility for the attack.

Early in the morning, some workers reported an alleged sabotage in the two machines. The Basque police went to that place and the officers confirmed that the two excavators had several material damages.

Basque police could not determine what kind of attack was it. However, an anonymous caller in ETA’s name phoned the highway assistance organization this evening to claim responsibility for the attack.

Basque police are investigating to clear up the case.
