Spanish striker Daniel Guiza went to the top of the Primera Liga scoring charts when he took his tally for the season to 24 with his double in Real Mallorca's 2-1 win at Athletic Club Bilbao.
Daniel Guiza opened the scoring in the second but Athletic levelled thanks to Fernando Llorente's header in the ninth after a corner kick.
Guiza scored the winner in the 69th heading a another corner kick.
Before the beginning of the game, a sold-out crowd paid tribute to Athletic Club Bilbao midifielder Carlos Gurpegi, who was making his second competitive appearance after completing a two-year doping ban, his first one in San Mames.
Gurpegi received his ban after testing positive for a metabolite of the banned steroid nandrolone in 2002 although he said the result occurred because the substance was produced naturally during exercise.
