Actress Uma Thurman testified on Thursday that she felt sickened and terrified by a man accused of stalking her and was disturbed to hear he had been in contact with her family.
"I was completely freaked out. It was like a nightmare. It was scary", the "Kill Bill" and "Pulp Fiction" actress told a Manhattan criminal court in the trial of Jack Jordan.
The man accused of stalking Uma Thurman has said he never intended to scare the actress. Defendant Jack Jordan has added he was just trying to meet Thurman.
He acknowledges his attempts may have been "misguided". Jordan is charged with stalking and aggravated harassment. He was questioned in a Manhattan court by his attorney Friday.
He acknowledges he told her family that he would kill himself if he could not meet her. But he says it "was a clumsy and poor way of expressing my emotions for her". He says he first developed a crush on her when he was in high school.
