After Igor Portu’s hospitalization, one of the arrested on Sunday in Arrasate accused of belonging to the Basque armed group ETA, and his torture reports from Spanish Police, it has been known today that Mattin Sarasola, also from Lesaka too, shows injuries too.
According to the reports developed by the forensic surgeon at the National High Court, Juan Miguel Monge, that offers today El Pais newspaper, the arrested has "haematoms, bruises and contusion points” in several parts of the body, in both arms, deltoidea area, and right and left side hemitorax.
The doctor assures, however, that these injuries “are compatible with the act of a violent detention". The forensic surgeon examined Sarasola on Monday morning, once the arrested was taken to Madrid. The doctor assures in his reports that Sarasola "was not battered”.
Sarasola is isolated since then and will remain in this situation until Friday, when he will have to testify at the National High Court.
Igor Portu is still in the UCI
Igor Portu is still hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unity (UCI) at Donostia’s Hospital, also isolated and watched over four Spanish policemen.
Mayors and councillors of the Cinco Villas (Bortziriak) will move today to the Hospital to take parte in a gathering and try to visit the arrest.
On the other hand, Lesaka’s city council has called for a rally today at 20:00 under the subject “ Against the anti terrorist law, no more violence”.
