The yellow team from Orio won the second and decisive boat race within La Concha Flag competition, considered to be the "rowing Olympics," contested on Sunday, September 9, in Donostia-San Sebastian.
The team completed the race in 19 minutes, 16 seconds ahead Urdaibai (19:30) and Zarautz (19:43).
In the general classification of La Concha Flag, Orio was ahead Urdaibai and Hondarribia 18 and 28 seconds respectively.
The team from Orio scored a surprising result in the first race on Sunday, September 2. Thus, Orio had a 12-second advantage over Urdaibai and Hondarribia in the second race.
Castro, Zarautz, Tiran and Donostiko Arraun rowed in the first batch, and Zarautz scored the best time (19:43) while Orio, Urdaibai, Hondarribia and Pedreña rowed in the Honor Batch.
