Gernika bombing infographics

eitb24.com has published an infographics on the bombing of Gernika a month before the 70th anniversary of the historic events.

This is the second chapter of a trilogy that analyses the situation in the Basque Country before, during and after the bombing.

The first chapter explained the situation of the Basque front in 1937. On this occasion, the bombing itself is analysed, explaining how it took place; the planes used are reproduced in 3D, and Von Ristoffen's original texts for Franco, as well as the feature by reporter George Steer can be read.

The infographics also displays photos of the period and videos of survivors' statements.

ETB's international co-production

These statements are tips to the documentary ETB will premiere on April 26, on the day of the 70th anniversary, under the title "Gernika, the bombing."

It is a work by the Basque production company Idem; an international co-production alongside televisions from Germany, Italy, France and the United Kingdom.

Apart from the statements, this documentary directed by Alberto Rojo will unveil images and unpublished data, gathered in research carried out in Russia, Germany, Italy, France and Gernika.

Finishing touch, virtual interactive walk

The premiere of the documentary will coincide with the third and last chapter of the infographics and virtual work published in eitb24.com.

The third infographics, made by 90grados as well, will include a virtual and interactive walk along Gernika, reproducing the town before, during and after the bombing, by Axiora.

The infographics as well as the virtual walk and the international documentary, alongside other two complementary documentaries, will be on sale in a multimedia pack from June on.
