Oasis released the single 'The Shock Of The Lightning' on September 29th and the video for this single is available to view online at Oasisinet from 17:30 (UK time) on Monday 25th August. It was broadcasted at 23:40 on Channel 4 and around the globe at the same time.
The video was directed by Julian House & Julian Gibbs.
The new album is being released on 6th October on the band's own Big Brother label across the world.
The B-side to the single is the sought after Chemical Brothers remix of ‘Falling Down’, another song from ‘Dig Out Your Soul'.
This is the first time an Oasis single has been backed with a remix and fans purchasing downloads of “The Shock Of The Lightning” via the band's own web site. The single is only available via those two web portals.
A strictly limited edition 7" vinyl collector's box will be made available separately for fans from both Oasisinet.com and select retailers to enable fans to collect all the 7" singles from the forthcoming album campaign.
