Spanish police find ETA's arms dump in Santo Domingo de la Calzada

According to the police, the arms dump could contain 100 kilos of explosives. Arkaitz Goikoetxea has been taken to La Rioja to witness the search of the arms dump.

Spanish police found on Thursday an arms dump in Santo Domingo de la Calzada (La Rioja) thought to belong belong to the armed Basque group ETA, official sources told Spanish news agency Europa Press.

According to the police, the arms dump could contain 100 kilos of explosives.

Arkaitz Goikoetxea, arrested earlier this week and believed to be the leader of one of ETA's units, was been taken to La Rioja to witness the search of the arms dump.

Spanish police found overnight another hide which contained a rifle, ammunition, tools to steal cars and a box of "Valium" tranquillizers" in Valgañon, also in La Rioja.
