A homemade device went off on Sunday outside a bank office in the Basque town of Getxo causing minor damage, Basque police reported.
The bomb, which comprised a container of inflammable liquid and explosive powder, went off at about 5:00 a.m. Sunday outside the offices of the Barclays Bank in Getxo, a Basque town a few miles from Bilbao.
The regional interior ministry said the homemade device tin detonated with no warning at 5 a.m. (0300 GMT) Sunday damaging a cash dispenser and breaking windows.
