Bruesa GBC defeated by CB Granada in season’s opening game

Bruesa Guipuzkoa Basket could not make a victorious start to their ACB campaign on Saturday after being defeated by CB Granada 83-79 in the Andalusian city.

The game was close until the dying minutes when the Basques missed some free throws.

Jimmie Hunter led the winners with 28 points and three assists while Curtis Borchardt added 10 points and 13 rebounds. Gutierrez and Cheery were also I double-scoring figures for CB Granada.

For the Basques, Isaac Lopez and Andy Panko scored 19 and 17 points respectively and Lou Roe notched 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
