CCTV footage captured a hungry bear helping itself to a food at a fast food outlet in Kitimat, British Colombia.
The young bear's every move was captured by the nine security cameras in the shop, including how it grabbed the handle of the front door and pulled it open.
Subway restaurant employee Rebecca Branton first spotted the bear on an overhead security monitor.
Branton fled for the bathroom - the safest room in the shop - as the bear popped over the counter for a closer look at the food on the counter.
The bear then wandered around the shop, coming within meters (feet) of the locked bathroom where Branton was hiding. The bear eventually decide to leave, letting itself out the same way it came in.
Area police tracked the bear down a short while later and shot it, insisting that it was likely to return to the area and possibly endanger human lives.
