Basque Prime Minister Juan Jose Ibarretxe will present his candidacy for the fourth time to the regional elections in march 2009, Basque Nationalist party president Iņigo Urkullu announced today.
The announcement has taken place before thousands of people in Alderdi Eguna that Basque Nationalist Party PNV has celebrated in Foronda fields, in the outskirts of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
The Basque PM will present as candidate as leader of PNV in the regional elections. He presented in 1998 for the first time.
