Roman judge and lawyer are being sued

A 54-year-old Italian woman who was working in two jobs sometimes let her twin sister substitute for her. In a trail clients saw through the deception and charged them both.

The Italian who was working in two jobs, mainly worked as a lawyer and sometimes she would substitute judges when there case load was too heavy. In Italy you get fees when you don't make many hours. The woman, identified as Gabrielle, let her sister stand in for her from time to time because she would still receive the fees in that way.

When Gabriella was being called to be a judge and lawyer at the same time, in different places, she decided to send her sister to stand in for her as a lawyer and went to the other existing herself.

Her sister, Patrizia, who didn't have the degree to perform as a judge charged the clients in the case anyway.

The clients saw through the deception and they are now suing the twin sisters for damages. The Italian papers are saying that prosecutors have charged both with fraud.
