The Sam Roberts Band will perform tomorrow at Bilbao’s Kafe Antzokia in order to introduce Roberts and his band’s last album ‘Love at The end Of The World’, an Americana record alternating psychedelic rock and melody.
While they were recording the album, video director Mr. David Pawsey had occasion to sit in on many of the sessions. He was able to document a good portion of it on his camera and later, the band set up a page where a selection of vignettes that they made with the footage can be viewed. Each one gives a peek at what was going on during the recording of several different songs on the record.

The Hellacopters are playing around the same hour at Rock Star Live premises in Barakaldo, 7 kilometers far from the center of Bilbao. The Swedish band is to split and that is why it is now involved in the so-called “Farewell Tour”. This the statement they made in their website.
“After nearly thirteen years as The Hellacopters we’re now sad to tell you that we are breaking up. The reasons behind this very difficult decision are many and too personal to go into here.
Playing in a rock and roll band isn’t always a walk in the park, but thanks to all of you who rocked out with us at sweaty clubs, rainy festivals or at home by the stereo throughout the years, it’s been a fantastic trip. We’ll never forget your support.
We recently finished mixing our seventh and last studio album and I will be released early next year according to initial plans. We feel like we wanna say one last Goodbye to you and throw in the towel with a bang, so we’re aiming to do a farewell tour through Europe and Scandinavia sometime in the spring. So you’re not getting rid of us just yet.”
The Hellacopters are also working on a retrospective documentary film.
