Victims of ETA attacks call for protest against De Juana's release

Victims of ETA attacks have called for demonstrations to protest against the recent release from prison of a notorious member of the armed Basque group ETA who has completed his jail term.

Maite Pagazaurtundua, the president of the Foundation for Victims of Terrorism, called Friday for protests against the release of Jose Ignacio de Juana Chaos.

De Juan has served separate sentences for the murder of 25 people in a string of ETA attacks and for publishing threats of violence and was released Saturday morning from Aranjuez prison south of Madrid.
